GEdit Program, Modules, and Documentation

Files that run and document GEdit, an implementation of a shape grammar system. The system performs computations with shapes in 2-d in the algebras of lines [U(1 2)] and labels [U(0 2)]

The system runs on a Power PC Macintosh with additional extensions provided when you do not have Macintosh Common Lisp MCL. GEdit is a program written in the MCL dialect of Lisp It is currently under development by Mark Tapia in the Architecture Department at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology

To unstuff it, double click on the file and place it in the Extensions folder inside the "System Folder". Reboot the machine before running the GEdit program in the next archive.

When you download this file, the file will first be decoded from binhex format and then from archive format to the file folder "GEdit folder". Move this folder to the appropriate place on your hardisk.
